Tournament Reminder

Hi there everyone. On Saturday, February 25th, 2012 at 8:00PM EST, we will be hosting a Pokemon Tournament. This will be for the 5th generation Pokemon games Black and White. This tournament will be single standard in knockout style. Make sure to come about 15-20 minutes early to be sure to reserve a spot. Please note that all Smogon Rules will apply as well as clauses, and mixed tiers will be present. Ubers will not be allowed. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!

Hello everyone! Our first Tournament of 2012 will be taking place on Saturday, February 4th 2012. It will be standard single and on Pokemon Black and White. The prize will be the first name on the 2012 hall of fame, and an EV’d Pokemon of your choice. We hope to see you all there at our Tournament Chat!

We’ve unveiled the PokeOrb 2012 update! A new site and many new features! In addition to Pokemon Tournaments, we will be hosting Mario Kart 7 Tournaments on Friday nights! These will be a little bit different from Pokemon ones, so make sure to check out the Mario Kart 7 Tournaments section. In addition to the updates, we’re going to continue to grow, so if you have any suggestions, make sure to let us know. Furthermore, we’ve pruned through the staff list and We do have staff spots open for those who are interested.

Our Tournaments protocol with Pokemon has changed also. Now on the Tournament page you’ll find a Poll on the sidebar. We will be voting for the generation and tier for that respective Tournament. We will also have the option to vote for either a 4th or 5th generation Tournament. Affiliations are currently being accepted, so if you’re a webmaster and interesting in a partnership or affiliation, send us a request at the affiliation page.

So, I’m happy to announce the 2012 PokeOrb update! 2009-2012 is a long time, and let’s make this a great year!

Mario Kart 7 section added

We’ve added a Mario Kart 7 section to PokeOrb. This is part of our 2012 update which will expand PokeOrb’s range of content. We’ve added the Racer’s Lounge as well, which will feature information on MK7 and tips. Make sure to check out the new section when you get the chance.

Mario Kart 7 Tournaments

In addition to our 2012 update, we will be hosting Mario Kart 7 Tournaments. These will vary from our Pokemon Tournaments in style, as we will have a set number of opponents, and it will not be in knockout style. We will also have a cap on 16 contestants. Pokemon Tournaments Return

We’re proud to announce that Saturday Night Tournaments will be returning to PokeOrb this Feburary. This is in addition our Mario Kart 7 Tournaments, which will be hosted on Friday Nights. As usual, both will begin at 8:00 until further notice. Regarding Pokemon Tournaments, we will be alternating between 5th and 4th generation games. Another new update will be a poll every week. This way, YOU can decide which Tournament will be hosted.
